Origin Park
Clarksville, IN – Along the Ohio River
Origin Park is a transformative 600-acre regional park currently under development along the Ohio River. Envisioned as a major ecological and recreational resource, the park will feature over 300 acres of restored native habitat, 16 miles of trails, and 3 miles of scenic roads, serving as a vital missing link in the region’s green infrastructure. Led by OLIN, the master plan for Origin Park began in 2018 and represents a long-term investment in restoration, connectivity, and public access to nature.
Evan McNaught has played a key role in the design process, contributing to a wide range of efforts including concept development, renderings, including the park site plan, animations, diagrams, and client presentations. His work has helped bring the vision of Origin Park to life through clear storytelling and immersive visuals.
Evan has also been deeply involved in Buttonbush Woods, one of the park’s most ecologically sensitive areas. There, he has conducted trail mapping, ecological surveys, and on-site exploration to ensure the design respects and protects existing habitats. With Phase 1 underway, Origin Park stands as a model for thoughtful, nature-based design that redefines what a riverfront park can be.

The Event Center at Origin Park
The first phase of Origin Park focuses on a new event center overlooking the Ohio River. The area serves as an introduction to the new park as well as a fundraising opportunity.
