In collaboration with the Gold Ridge Fire Protection District and TOPO Collective, McNaught Design developed an advanced GIS-based response time map to support emergency planning and resource deployment across Sonoma and Marin Counties in California. The goal was to equip fire department leadership with a dynamic, data-driven tool to evaluate current coverage areas, identify service gaps, and improve overall emergency response strategies.
Marin Water - Mt. Tamalpais Watershed Visitor Map Redesign
The Mount Tamalpais Watershed is a stunning 18,000-acre natural preserve located in Marin County, California, just north of San Francisco. This popular outdoor destination features more than 150 miles of hiking and equestrian trails, dramatic ridgelines, rolling hills, serene lakes, and shaded canyons. The watershed is home to Alpine Lake, Kent Lake, Bon Tempe Lake, and Lake Lagunitas, and is visited by thousands of outdoor enthusiasts every week.

To help market the property online, Post Brothers hired McNaught Design to provide professional drone services in Philadelphia, including aerial photography and 4K drone video production. Our goal was to visually communicate the property’s connection to Wissahickon Valley Park, its upgraded courtyard, and its proximity to downtown Philadelphia.

The transformation of the Mary McLeod Bethune Schoolyard is a powerful example of how thoughtful design can turn underutilized asphalt lots into vibrant, climate-resilient community spaces. Led by the Trust for Public Land (TPL), the project replaced a heat-absorbing blacktop with a green, welcoming schoolyard filled with trees, gardens, and play areas—designed to support both education and environmental resilience.
